Community Guidelines

Our community is built on respect, dignity, and genuine connection. These guidelines protect that.

Our Core Belief

Every person on UnboundMatch deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. Disability is not a flaw to be overlooked — it is part of a whole, beautiful human being. Our community exists to celebrate that truth.

Respect & Dignity

  • Treat every member as a full human being, not a diagnosis or a disability.
  • Use respectful, person-first language unless a member prefers identity-first language.
  • Respect members' boundaries around discussing their disability.
  • Celebrate differences — don't just "tolerate" them.

Authentic Connection

  • Be honest in your profile — use recent photos and accurate information.
  • Communicate your intentions clearly and respectfully.
  • Don't ghost members — if you're not interested, a kind message is always appreciated.
  • Build connections based on genuine interest, not curiosity about someone's disability.

Zero Tolerance Behaviors

  • Ableism in any form — mocking, belittling, or dismissing someone's disability.
  • Fetishizing disability — treating someone's disability as a sexual curiosity.
  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
  • Discrimination based on disability type, race, gender, sexuality, or religion.
  • Sharing another member's personal information without consent.
  • Impersonation or creating fake profiles.
  • Spam, scams, or solicitation.

Safety First

  • Never share your home address, financial information, or passwords with other members.
  • Meet in public places for first dates.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, it probably is.
  • Report suspicious behavior immediately using the report feature.
  • UnboundMatch will never ask for your password or payment information via message.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from UnboundMatch, depending on severity. We review all reports seriously and respond within 24-48 hours.

To report a violation, use the in-platform report feature or email us at support@UnboundMatch.com.
